Ask Your AI Agent About AI Stocks: QSignals Now Works With Claude and Cursor
Your AI Assistant Can Now Read QSignals
If you use Claude, Cursor or another AI assistant, you've probably asked it about a stock and gotten an answer that sounds confident but is based on whatever it remembers from training. It can't see today's price action, and it has no idea whether its opinion has ever been right.
Starting today, you can plug QSignals into your assistant. Ask "which AI stocks look strongest this week?" and it pulls live QSignals scores instead of guessing.
This works through MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard that lets AI assistants call outside tools. QSignals is listed in the official MCP registry as io.github.jiahongq/qsignals.
- You ask"Which AI stocks look strongest right now?"
- Your assistantClaude, Cursor or another MCP client picks a QSignals tool
- QSignalsReturns live scores, the market regime or the track record
What Your Agent Can Do
Once connected, your assistant gets six tools:
- get_stock_score: the QSignals score (0–100) and signal for a stock across short, mid and long horizons, each with a one-line reason.
- get_all_scores: every stock on your plan in one call, sorted by the horizon you choose.
- get_top_picks: the highest- or lowest-scored stocks for a horizon.
- get_market_regime: whether the tech market is currently bullish, neutral or bearish.
- get_track_record: how past QSignals scores actually performed, including hit rates and returns versus QQQ.
- list_covered_stocks: the 83 curated AI, space, energy and robotics stocks we score in full.
That get_track_record tool matters. Your agent doesn't have to take our word for anything. It can check how the scores have done and tell you, including the weak spots. Here's the record it reads today:
Show data
| Horizon | Snapshots | Top 10 | QQQ | Bottom 10 | Top-10 hit rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 week | 27 | +1.0% | +0.9% | +0.2% | 47.8% |
| 1 month | 24 | +7.3% | +3.8% | +2.4% | 54.6% |
| 6 months | 6 | +28.3% | +20.9% | +2.8% | 71.7% |
Long and mid-term scores have beaten QQQ so far; one-week scores haven't. We break down why, including how much of the long-term result came from a single stock, in our 27-week performance review.
What Your Agent Sees
Each tool returns structured data that your assistant turns into a plain-language answer. This is the actual response for NVDA from November 1, trimmed to the main fields:
{
"ticker": "NVDA",
"name": "NVIDIA",
"short": { "score": 55, "signal": "Neutral", "reason": "below 50d MA" },
"mid": { "score": 42, "signal": "Caution", "reason": "above 200-day MA only · market neutral" },
"long": { "score": 84, "signal": "Strong Momentum", "reason": "0% above 200-day MA — bull trend · AI compute mega-trend" },
"coverage": "full"
}
A good assistant will read that as: the long-term picture is strong, but the stock has slipped below its 50-day average and the broader market read is neutral, so the near-term setup is mixed. That's the kind of nuance a single "buy or sell" label hides.
The Market Your Agent Is Reading
As of the latest snapshot, the QSignals market regime reads neutral, after a long bullish run from June through mid-October. The macro backdrop explains the caution. The Federal Reserve held rates at 3.75%–4.00% on October 28, but two of the twelve voters wanted a hike (CNBC), and markets are pricing more tightening ahead (Seeking Alpha). Highly valued AI stocks are the most sensitive to that.
This is exactly where an agent with live data beats one working from memory. Ask the same question next week and the regime, the scores and the reasons may all have moved.
Things to Ask
Some prompts that work well once it's connected:
- "What's the QSignals score for NVDA, and what's driving it?"
- "Rank the AI stocks QSignals covers by long-term score and show me the top 10."
- "Is the market regime bullish or bearish right now?"
- "How has QSignals' track record held up? Be skeptical."
- "Score SHOP and compare it to the top AI picks." (Pro)

Why We Built This
More and more research starts with a question typed into an AI assistant instead of a search box. We'd rather your assistant answer with scores that are tracked in public than with a guess. Every score it pulls is the same one you'd see on the dashboard, and every week of results stays on the record.
